Fexco – the leading independent global provider of Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and Multi Currency Pricing (MCP), and Worldline, the European leader in the payments and transactional services industry, have today announced an extension of their partnership to offer DCC at ATMs.
DCC at ATMs gives non-euro cardholders in Europe, the first traveler destination in the world, the value added service option to withdraw money from ATMs when traveling abroad, with full visibility of the exchange rate they are paying and the knowledge of how much they are withdrawing in their own currency, on the day of the transaction.
The technology is built as a comprehensive system for delivering DCC services on ATM Networks to European Independent ATM Deployers (IAD’s) and Financial Institutions (FI’s), offering an end to end solution to currency management, authorisation, clearing, settlement and dispute management.
Denis Cleary, Managing Director of Fexco DCC, comments: “We are delighted to be extending our existing partnership with Worldline to offer DCC at ATM across Europe. “This partnership combines Fexco’s global expertise in DCC with Worldline’s experience in ATM processing, to offer ATM Deployers and Financial Institutions across Europe an improved ATM solution for their customers.” We have been working with Worldline since 2011 and we see a great synergy and complementary value proposition between Fexco and Worldline product offerings. We look forward to extending this relationship into Worldline’s Financial Processing and Licensing business line for ATMs.”
Wolf Kunisch, Managing Director of Worldline Financial Processing and Licensing business line, comments: “By partnering with Fexco, Worldline is facilitating acquirers’ access to DCC services, making their ATMs more attractive and increasing their revenue stream. DCC at ATM enhances Worldline’s end-to-end capabilities in ATM management and ATM acquiring. This enrichment of Worldline’s value added services portfolio reinforces its global strategy to provide more than just payment services.”
