Building payment solutions for Institutional Clients
FEXCO Corporate Payments uses a consultative approach to find the best payment solution for large institutional clients. Our approach involves looking at the client’s accounts payable function and identifying the processes that are time consuming and labour-intensive; we target those pain points by providing an integrated payment service that frees up resources for busy accounts functions.
We work with accounts teams to provide a seamless link between the FEXCO Corporate Payments platform and the client’s accounts package called FileDirect. FEXCO Corporate Payments has over a decade of experience in implementing FileDirect solutions for a variety of corporates and institutions, eliminating the problem of manual reconciliations for those clients. The FEXCO Corporate Payments direct debit approach eliminates bank account interface at the start of the payment cycle, simplifying the process even further.
In addition to implementing the FileDirect link we can advise on payment delivery options and we can provide cheques in domestic and foreign currencies. Other services that we have developed for large institutional clients include customised transaction reports and bespoke payment confirmation messages that are distributed automatically to payees. Payment Service Providers
We develop innovative solutions that allow our payment partners to provide services to their clients. Here are two examples of our partnerships in action.
Example of Payment Partnerships in Action: Pacific region
Licensing the FEXCO payments platform in the Pacific
FEXCO Corporate Payments has licensed its proprietary PayManager software to allow FEXCO Pacific to operate an online payments platform for its clients. FEXCO Pacific now uses the software to process funds transfers for its own customers. The PayManager software incorporates comprehensive back office functionality, simplifying business processes for FEXCO Pacific by eliminating time-consuming tasks such as manual reconciliation and account authentication.
FEXCO Pacific now uses the FEXCO PayManager payments platform to process payments for clients in locations as diverse as Australia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands.
Example of Payment Partnerships in Action: Europe
Collaboration with SOFORT Bank
SOFORT Bank, an e-commerce bank specialising in merchant payment processing, selected FEXCO Corporate Payments as its partner to process cross-border online payment transactions. FEXCO enables SOFORT Bank to offer this enhanced cross-border transfer facility to its merchant clients by providing FX conversion, clearing and payment settlement functionality. The new functionality provides a seamless and consistent Europe-wide money transfer service both inside and outside the SEPA network.
SOFORT AG is Germany’s market leader in direct transfer transactions. More than 25,000 e-commerce retailers conduct more than 2.5 million transactions monthly using SOFORT. SOFORT services are used in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Poland and the UK.
FEXCO makes it possible for SOFORT to process cross-border payments for its merchants. For instance, a British customer can now make purchases from a German merchant and pay for the goods in British pounds. The German merchant receives the equivalent sum in euros, with FEXCO running the relevant conversion and settlement processes automatically in the background.
